Ryan Miller is an English teacher at secondary level in Scotland. Prior to this, he worked as a sports journalist for the Press Association and The Herald, Scotland's biggest-selling broadsheet. His time at the Press Association saw him published in almost every major newspaper in Britain on a daily basis, while The Herald afforded him the opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest and most insightful sports reporters in the UK.

He has interviewed many of the biggest names in British soccer and has experience of covering top-level matches in the Scottish Premier League, the Champions League and the UEFA Cup/Europa League. In addition, he has extensive experience of covering many other live sports, including: rugby, NFL, golf and tennis. Actually, he is quite happy to write about anything involving a ball...

Although British soccer remains his biggest passion, he is also an enthusiast of books, education, cinema and television, travel, music, gaming (console) and current affairs.

Ryan is currently four months into a one-year, round-the-world trip spanning America, Mexico, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and Southeast Asia.
